At our dermatology office, we strive to provide the highest quality of care to all of our patients. We understand that having dermatological issues can be a difficult experience, and we want to make sure that you feel supported and informed throughout your journey.

Medicare Rebate
With a current referral you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate. If you do not have a referral you can still attend an appointment, however you will not be eligible for a Medicare rebate. We may be able to submit your claim on your behalf on the day.
Referrals
Referrals can be written by your GP or the specialist. General Practioner's referrals have a validity of 12 months and Specialist referrals last for 3 months. You will need to bring a copy of your referral to your appointment to be eligible for a Medicare Rebate.
Cancellations
Your courtesy to let us know if you cannot attend your appointment is much appreciated as this allows other patients waiting for a appointment to be seen sooner. A fee for not notifying may apply.
Private Health Insurance
Not all private health insurance providers cover melanoma dection and diagnostic services. Private health members should consult their policy provider.
Professional Fees
Unfortunately due to the cost of providing specialist medical services, we do not bulk bill. There are discounts applicable to eligible pensioners. DVA gold card holder patients do not incur any out-of-pocket charges.
Waiting List
Please ask when booking an appointment, to be added to our "waiting for cancellation" list.
Urgent Appointments
We have dedicated urgent appointment slots that are available only to doctors who ring directly to our clinic. If you require an urgent appointment, please ask your doctor to contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
New Patient Form
All new patients will be required to complete a demographics form before they attend their consultation with the doctor. If you have not had time to send the demographics form please complete the form on arrival. State the names of any oral or topical medications and all drug allergies.
